His approach integrates Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Focused models, somatic practices, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). At the heart of his work is the belief that people are doing the best they can with the resources and support available to them and that healing begins through a strong therapeutic relationship.

Outside of his professional life, Stephen lives a full home life with his partner, two young adult children, two dogs and two cats. When he’s not working, he enjoys cycling, kayaking, hiking, or trying to carve out time for good books and great movies and shows.
